Student scheduling for tutors, without spreadsheets or chat threads

Parents book lessons for their kids themselves, and you see the whole week in one calendar. One-to-one lessons, small groups and Zoom classes all live on one page.

  • Free on «Start», no card
  • No website or developer needed
  • Clients don't need to sign up

Sound familiar?

  • A spreadsheet and a dozen chats

Who's on Wednesday at five, who moved from Monday, who needs an extra lesson before a test. It's all in different chats and a spreadsheet you update in the evenings.

  • Mum books, Dad reschedules

And the student is the one who turns up. Who to tell about a change, and who's actually in charge of the booking, has to be worked out every time.

  • September and exam season

Before the school year and before exams, everyone wants you at once. You spend hours explaining that only Tuesday's free and piecing the timetable together by hand.

  • Cancelled an hour before

A student's ill and the lesson falls through. Another child could have had that hour, if anyone had known it was free.

  • Someone shows up at the old time

You moved a lesson and posted in the chat, but the message got buried. Now a kid's standing outside your door and you're not there.

What helps you most

  • Parents book for their child

The booking page has a "booking for my child" option with a field for the child's name. Reminders and reschedule requests go to whoever made the booking, and the client card shows both.

  • Small groups with limited places

Set up a group with a number of places, a level and a regular timetable. Students sign up themselves and see how many places are left; you see who's in each group.

  • Online and in-person in one schedule

Mark a service as online and those students won't get directions to your place. In-person and online lessons never overlap.

Questions

No. The student or a parent opens your link, picks a subject and a free time, and leaves a name and phone or email. They don't need an account.

Yes. Give groups a regular timetable and classes are created weeks ahead. For one-to-one lessons, set your working hours and students book free time within the booking window you choose.

Make a separate service for each subject or format — maths, exam prep, English for younger kids. Groups have levels too: beginner, intermediate, advanced, or your own.

Tapolo sends a reminder before each lesson on Telegram or by email to whoever booked the child. You don't have to message every family yourself.

The time goes straight back on your page. You can also send it to students who haven't booked in a while, and the first to grab it gets it.

Yes. Mark the service as an online lesson and put the meeting link in the description or send it separately. Tapolo handles the schedule, bookings and reminders.
