Online booking for therapy sessions

When someone's struggling, getting in touch is hard enough. Let them pick a time quietly, with nothing to explain in chat — and decide whether you can work with them before you meet.

  • Free on «Start», no card
  • No website or developer needed
  • Clients don't need to sign up

Sound familiar?

  • The first step is the hardest

Plenty of people put off contacting a therapist for months. A long back-and-forth about free times right at the start is one more reason to wait. The easier it is to book, the more people make it to a first session.

  • Not every request is yours

You work with particular issues and formats. To know whether you can help, you need a few answers before the session, not during it.

  • Someone's Tuesday at seven

Clients come regularly, on their own day and hour. Past a dozen of them, keeping those slots in your head without giving someone's Tuesday away gets hard.

What helps you most

  • A few questions before the first session

What brings them, any previous experience of therapy, which format suits them. Add these to your consultation and read the answers before you meet, on the client's card.

  • New clients only after your decision

A first-time client waits for your approval while their chosen time is held. If the request isn't one for you, you say so before the session rather than in it.

  • Pauses between sessions

Set the session length and a break afterwards, for notes and a few quiet minutes before the next person. The page won't offer sessions back to back.

  • Support groups with limited places

For group work, set the number of participants and a regular timetable. People sign up themselves, and you know who's coming in advance.

Questions

Only free times they can book. Who's booked, and why, is visible to you alone in your dashboard.

Yes. Mark the consultation as online and clients won't be sent directions. Add the meeting link to the service description or send it separately.

You move the booking in your calendar, and the client gets the new time and answers with a button. Until they do, the session stays where it was.

Tapolo sends a short reminder a day and two hours before the session, on Telegram or by email, and never advertises anything to your clients.

Yes. Subscribe your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar to your Tapolo bookings and sessions appear there on their own. The link is personal, so don't share it: it shows client names.

No, they share one schedule. The page won't offer a one-to-one session during a group, even if some of your sessions are online.

Then the «Studio» plan fits. Each psychologist has their own calendar and clients, colleagues can't see each other's bookings or notes, and clients choose who to book with on a shared page.
